No, I prefer to fight. My dear Zurita, run in search of another friend and stop at the Hotel de Europa as my representatives. Seek out this man, exact reparation upon the spot—a reparation which shall be resounding, complete. Either he declares over his own signature that those letters are impudent forgeries or, should he refuse, I shall take him by the collar and drag him to the police station, where I shall demand that he be locked up for the rest of his life. I will not allow him to escape unpunished. I will not allow him to go on living as if nothing had happened. I will not allow him to continue to insult me with his silence. I will not allow him to think that he can get away with this. I will not allow him to think that he can treat me like a fool. I will not allow him to think that he can play with my honor. I will not allow him to think that he can toy with my feelings. I will not allow him to think that he can make a mockery of my love. I will not allow him to think that he can destroy my life without consequences. I will not allow him to think that he can walk away from this unscathed. I will not allow him to think that he can escape my wrath. I will not allow him to think that he can escape my vengeance. I will not allow him to think that he can escape my justice.
