Grandmother Monologue from The Grandmother

From The Grandmother by Lajos Biro

female · contemplative · 40 sec

Then I collected all my wits. I said to myself, if I keep on walking I will lose my way all the more. I ought to remain where I am and wait. When grandfather arrives at home and misses me he will start a search with all the help and people. They will go into the woods with torchlights—and then I will see the lights from the distance and hear them call—and in that way I can get home.
