Well, if I haven't left it at the hotel where I stayed last night-- (MR. W: Yes; if you haven't left it there?) Why, I must have left it in America. (MR. W: In America? Then all is lost.) No, it isn't. Now calm yourself, uncle. I must confess that I've got you into a bit of a mess, but it's all in the interests of science, you know. I'll go to the hotel at once, and try and find my bottle. If it isn't there, I'll give up all my prospects in England, and travel to America as quickly as I can, and come back as quickly as I can, with another bottle.
